01 - Sift matcha powder into a mug to eliminate lumps. Add hot water and whisk vigorously until smooth and frothy.
02 - Warm oat milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until steaming but not boiling. Alternatively, microwave for 45-60 seconds.
03 - Froth heated oat milk using a milk frother or whisk until foam forms.
04 - Pour oat milk into matcha mug, holding back foam with spoon. Spoon foam on top. Stir in sweetener if desired and serve immediately, optionally garnished with matcha powder.
